SELF-REALIZATION v. ANANDA CHURCH (3/23/00 - No. 9717407)
Works of a religious leader, living under a vow of poverty in the church he
founded, are not “works for hire” or the works of a “corporate body.” As a
result, the common law copyrights do not vest in the church as a matter of
law.
